Loose leaf is perfect for most gilding purposes.

It’s particularly good for carved surfaces.

We offer leaf metal in Brass, Aluminium and Copper. Use the leaf with hands lightly dusted with talcum powder and stick the leaf on to a surface coated with Annie Sloan Gold Size.

Brass leaf is also known as ‘Imitation Gold’ or sometimes referred to as ‘Dutch Gold’.

Brass tarnishes so apply a layer of Clear Chalk Paint® Wax over your gilded surface when done.

Aluminium leaf is also known as ‘Imitation Silver’.

To make it look like vintage silver, apply a light coat of Dark Chalk Paint® Wax when done.

Our loose leaf metal is available in books of 20 sheets.

Each sheet is 5 inches x 5 inches.
